This engine will be the source of power for the entire 2022 Aston Martin DBX lineup, including coupe and a seven-seater. The hand-crafted unit is delivering 542 hp and 515 lb-ft of torque. It makes DBX powerful and quick. Experts estimate acceleration 0-60 mph will take 4.3 seconds. The vehicle might reach 185 mph of top speed. A nine-pace automatic gearbox is a power router.
The company has worked on other parts too. This is a totally new class for it and fans, so the lifted ride is quite a surprise. The architecture is the same, as for other models by this company. Adaptive dampers and air spring are not the parts we meet every day in the Aston Martin lineup. So, we expect the base SUV pretty soon. And what about two new versions? These are planned for the 2022 season. However, with a delay in the debut of the standard vehicle, it is questionable if the 2022 Aston Martin DBX Coupe and Seven-Seater will appear only as concepts, or the production could start the same year.
