Still, the 2023 Cadillac XT4 will offer the great ability and fuel economy. On the other hand, the savings will be spent on upscale materials inside the cabin and advanced systems for the base package.
The overall impression among fans is that Cadillac still has a lot to learn. Compared to German rivals, the XT4 is not so luxurious. The single-engine is pretty potent, returning 237 horsepower. Still, a lack of options will make potential buyers look elsewhere.
Pricing
The base MSRP of $36,000 for the 2023 Cadillac XT4 seems to be pretty high. But, the crossover offers some cool features, not available for standard GM vehicles. In the future, the company might bring a hybrid setup. Such a model would boost power outputs and fuel economy. Those are areas where the enhancement is most needed. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 Hybrid could return 30 mpg in the city drive, while also adding extra power. On the other hand, General Motors is more focused on complete electrification. Even if they start building hybrid drivetrains, the XT5 is getting it before the small XT4.
Packages and Colors
The company updated the color palette for the current version. For the 2023 Cadillac XT4, changes will reshuffle options in trim levels. Only Radiant Silver is a free color, and the base Luxury package also offers Wave, Garnet, Twilight Blue, Stellar Black, Shadow, and Autumn tints for $625, while the premium options are Infrared and Crystal White, both cost $1,225. New options are Galactic Gray, Latte, and Rosewood. Exterior colors are the same for all trim levels, and upgrading the ride brings only optional interior themes. Combinations include brown, black, and white surfaces with perforated inserts.
The base offering includes plenty of safety options, such as emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear park assists. Highlights of the Luxury package are 18-inch wheels, keyless entry, a power liftgate, and simulated leather upholstery. Those are a few reasons why the price is so high. The upcoming 2023 Cadillac XT4 will be even more packed. Premium Luxury is a $4,000 upgrade. Memory settings for driver’s bucket, rain-sensitive wipers, hands-free tailgate are notable features this package is adding. The blind-spot monitor could be available even for the Luxury edition. The XT4 Sport adds adjustable seats, sport steering wheel, special exterior accents and interior details, and red brake calipers. Of course, sportier suspension boosts the driving impression, while 20-inch wheels are an eye-catching upgrade.
2023 Cadillac XT4 vs. Competition
Three German carmakers are the biggest rivals to the US manufacturer in the subcompact class. Ford is not producing a vehicle for this segment under its premium Lincoln brand.
