The performance edition of the full-size SUV is going to need even more power. That should be the 2023 Chevy Tahoe SS model. We already have a favorite, but there are a few things that make this version unlikely. A 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine might be tuned for more than 600 horsepower. But, it seems some other vehicles might add the SuperSport badge before the Tahoe. For example, Blazer used to be a high-performance model and now the SUV is back. Also, the Silverado truck needs a version that will compete with Ford Raptor R and Ram 1500 TRX Hellcat. So, Tahoe is not very high on the priority list, but rumors are more frequent.
Other Trims: High County, Z71, Redline
The SUV is going to offer plenty of options. So, most buyers looking for a full-size rig will find a proper configuration. The base trim is going to be packed with a few advanced features. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. The mid-range RST brings the best value. But, if you want high-end options, there are a few models available. For off-roading, the 2023 Chevy Tahoe Z71 is one of the best 4×4 SUVs out in the market. Of course, there are a few other upgrades, such as skid plates, suspension, and increased ground clearance.
If you don’t need the SUV for tough terrains, but you want the most advanced technologies and upscale materials, the 2023 Tahoe High Country brings unique features. Leather upholstery, heated seats, a Super Cruise system, and a mighty 6.2-liter engine will make the SUV a competitor to luxury models. For the new edition, we will see the Redline package as an optional upgrade for the RST or Premier version. This bundle comes with unique exterior and interior details.
2023 Chevrolet Tahoe Price and Release Date
