The Monograph concept was the underpinning for the redesign. The QX60 is fresh and the changes for the 2023 season will be minor. Well, the biggest thing that can happen on the mid-size luxury SUV is to get a hybrid powertrain. It would fix a few of the major downsides – lack of engine options and the gas mileage. The 2023 Infiniti QX60 features a V6 engine, which is pretty reliable and durable. Still, buyers are asking for another choice. Also, the fuel economy is not impressive. Well, it won’t be with such a big unit. However, Infiniti can do it better than 23 mpg combined.
What will be the highlights of the 2023 Infiniti QX60? Definitely, the first thing everyone can spot is a bold styling, inspired by the Monograph concept. The same platform will underpin the upcoming QX80 full-size luxury SUV. Infiniti delivered an attractive vehicle, which also impresses inside the cabin. The interior is revamped and comes with more features than ever. Four trim levels are available, as well as a few optional upgrades. The QX60 is a three-row SUV, but you can fold the last row to create more space for cargo.
Why Buy 2023 Infiniti QX60?
The 2023 Infiniti QX60 is a three-row SUV with a seating capacity for seven persons. If you want, you can improve the comfort by replacing a bench in the middle row with captain’s chairs. The styling is new, and that is one of the biggest things Infiniti is counting on to improve sales. Autograph trim is also added after the redesign but as the high-end version. Well, the bad thing is that you need to buy this package to get captain’s chairs. Additional engine options will improve chances. Finally, being a luxury vehicle means the price is higher, so we won’t call it a true downside. Some other SUVs can double the price by adding optional features. The base MSRP for the 2023 QX60 will start at $47,000 and a $15k difference between entry-level and high-end model is not so huge.
Engine and Specifications
The SUV is redesigned, but under the bonnet is the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. The QX60 can deliver 295 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, to the front or all wheels. The first configuration returns 21/26 mpg, while the AWD consumes slightly more gas. The biggest change on the engine system is a new transmission. A nine-speed auto replaced the CVT. The first impressions are positive. The special off-road package could build up an overall image as well.
2023 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid
Having in mind issues with the gas mileage, the company is thinking of the 2023 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid. A V6 would be the base for the upcoming system, but there are no official confirmations. Well, the directions are clear – better gas mileage is the priority. Depending on the configuration, the SUV might get a smaller or a bigger power boost. For the second option, engineers will have to deploy a plug-in hybrid system for the QX60.
Trim Levels
The entry-level model is already packed with the equipment suitable for the luxury class. Well, the new edition gave room to designers to experiment. The Pure is an entry-level package that impresses with a set of 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery, panoramic moonroof, and a power liftgate. Inside, you will find a 12-inch touchscreen display. Parking sensors are standard all across the lineup. The safety is on a very high level, with blind-spot monitors, forward collision mitigation, and rear auto brakes. The QX60 Luxe adds an all-around camera, which is very helpful for tight parking lots, having in mind how big the SUV is. The driver’s display is larger. Front seats are heated and cooled, while the navigation becomes standard.
The 2023 Infiniti QX60 Sensory brings us to the premium offer. It expands the offer you are getting from the Luxe package. For example, massage is there for front buckets. An air purifier is installed as well, and Bose delivers 17-speaker audio. Most smartphone features are now wireless, such as charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top of the class model is an Autograph with black exterior and interior accents. Genuine leather and the most advanced technology make it so special. Plus, the captain’s chairs in the middle row are extending the comfort.
Optionally, you can upgrade the ride by some of the following packages. Performance Audio is available for the Luxe trim and its key promotion is the Bose sound system. Vision package is also available for the Sensory trim and features adaptive lights and an 11-inch HUD. You can also maximize the towing with a special bundle. But, AWD and the Sensory models are required.
2023 Infiniti QX60 Colors
The paintjob palette for the new model is stunning. Every next trim level introduces something extra, while even the base version offers six shades. The standard palette includes Mocha Almond, Mineral Black, Liquid Platinum, Graphite Shadow, Glacier White, and Grand Blue. Luxe replaces Glacier White with Majestic White, drops Liquid Platinum, and adds Deep Bordeaux and Warm Titanium. The special paintjob for the Sensory trim is Moonbow Blue. The Autograph model uses Mineral Black from the abovementioned colors, and the rest of the palette is a mix of another shade we already revealed, and unique Black Obsidian.
Great looking SUV with excellent features, however the point of a hybrid is getting considerabilly more gas mileage. I would not conmsider this vehicle because of this factor. Getting around the same mileage with my gas SUV. Definitely want to improve and look for a Hybrid plug-in. Getting serious lookingn at the 2023 models and saw some SUV’s worth considering. Hopefully you accomplish changing some engine features to make it more economical to run.
