Well, for the fans of traditional setups, there will be plenty of options as well. A new 1.6-liter engine is available in Europe, and we see it as the main powertrain for the ASX in many other markets. A 1.8-liter unit is more potent. It adds 23 hp compared to a smaller displacement, for a total of 140 ponies. However, this mill is reserved for the Japanese market. If you need more power, look for the 2023 Mitsubishi ASX with a 2.0-liter plant. It can create 150 hp. The US version, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, exploits a 2.4-liter engine. This unit is not available elsewhere. Some dealerships will also offer a 1.8-l turbodiesel to fans of oil burners.
