Engineers squeezed 261 hp for the current version, but the next one could be even more potent. The gas mileage in both configurations is around 26 mpg and that is with the Quattro AWD system.
A 3.0-liter V6 is there for the high-end 2024 Audi SQ5 model. The turbocharged version of the engine is producing 350 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque, that makes the crossovers sprint 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds. The gas mileage is not the best for this class. But, for such power outputs, 19/23 mpg is somehow expected. An AWD is also standard. The sportier version of the Q5 is also equipped with special brakes and suspension to deliver the ride this vehicle is deserving.
2024 Audi Q5 PHEV
The plug-in hybrid is more powerful than the SQ5, but it needs a bit more to reach 60 mph from a stop. Still, the main purpose of the 2024 Audi Q5 PHEV is to bring an enhancement to the gas mileage. Thanks to the electric support, the system can return 26 mpg and 61 MPGe. Also, the plug-in hybrid version can use only an electric motor, which will drive you 25 miles after the redesign. The Q5 is also becoming lighter, which leads to improvements. The ultimate goal is to deliver an all-electric version, which should replace all the existing setups after 2026.
Release Date and Price
Since the all-new edition is on the way, Audi will pay special attention to its flagship crossover. On the other hand, bosses don’t want fans to wait for too long.
