Those two drivetrains would definitely put the spotlight to the new SUV. The rest of the lineup should be the same, with the High Country as the top trim. An oil burner is there for the current version, but the appearance of the 2024 Chevy Tahoe diesel is questionable.

We already compared the SUV to the Silverado. Well, engine choices are not as wide as for the truck. There are also a V6 and even a turbo-four unit available there. Optionally, you can pick a larger displacement for the 2024 Chevy Tahoe – a 6.2-liter V8 with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Both mills are paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. A rear-wheel drive is standard, with an optional 4WD upgrade. The towing capacity with petrol units is 8,500 pounds.
The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe diesel uses a 3.0-liter Duramax engine. The turbodiesel configuration bursts 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft. The mileage is way better. The diesel unit returns 21/28 mpg, compared to 16/20 mpg on both gasoline setups in the base form. Sadly, this engine is not going to improve the towing capacity of the full-size SUV.

The electric version will probably have similar outputs, range, and configurations.
Another rumor is pretty hot nowadays. The 2024 Chevy Tahoe SS is more likely than ever. Why? Again, the Silverado truck is the rumor source. The company is developing the ZR2 version with enhanced power. A supercharged V8 engine will be under the hood. The first such upgrade is also available on the Cadillac Escalade-V. A 6.2-liter mil can crack 682 hp and 653 pound-feet of twist. Since it is not a premium model, the Tahoe could get a 4.2-liter twin-turbo setup. The Blackwing edition of the Cadillac CTS sedan can deliver 550 horsepower. Again, that is more than enough for the Tahoe SS.

The standard SUV is not too interesting, with those potential upgrades. The price stays at the same level for the trims carried over. That means the base version would cost around $50,000. The mid-range packages are RST and Z71, as a $10k upgrade. The premium lineup is Premier and High Country.
An electric SUV is going to top all of them. However, the 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe EV will be a concept vehicle, while the production is not starting so soon. On the other hand, the Tahoe SS is not too unrealistic anymore. After the Escalade-V and Silverado ZR2, the full-size SUV is the next to get a performance version. However, the price won’t start under $120,000.
