The Jeepster was a phaeton car, but it had no big success. The company produced it for a few years before World War II. But, the popularity of such vehicles dropped and the company left the idea. Then, the Jeepster Commander brought back the nameplate in the 1970s. However, this model had nothing to do with Jeep and the previous vehicle. And finally, the concept that never entered production was released in 1998. This time, Jeepster was a hot rod off-road model. After 25 years, rumors are there again. The 2024 Jeep Jeepster should now be a crossover SUV.
Jeep is Expanding the Lineup

Also, there are Commando, Liberty, and a few other more or less-known oldies. For example, the company brought back Wagoneer after a few years of speculations. It is the new SUV, taking a position in the full-size luxury class.
There are several other slots available for the Jeepster, especially with the electrification of the lineup. Recon EV is the first such crossover introduced officially. Wrangler Magneto is another potential model. Now, there is also the Jeepster. The company is also thinking of the subcompact Renegade crossover replacements. Or, the new 2024 Jeep Jeepster might have nothing to do with the crossover/SUV classes. Engineers could build up from the 1998 concept and deliver the hot rod.
