After the redesign for the next season, there won’t be big changes on the 2024 Lexus RX 350. The entry-level model is still very attractive, although high-end versions draw more attention. Lexus launched the new 500h F Sport Performance package, which steals the show so far. But, its price is $70,000, while the base RX350 is still the most affordable option in the lineup.
The RX SUV is the best-selling mid-size luxury model. The versatility of the lineup makes this possible. The 2024 RX 350 is going to be a two-row vehicle with some of the options the premium segment is offering. We are still missing info about the RX350L, the three-row SUV. The company is yet to release if it is going to be part of the lineup. The latest rumors are mentioning the TX as the replacement.
Other options include a hybrid engine and the F Sport package. Highlights of the all-new RX are the turbo-four engine and the fresh styling. The vehicle is available for pre-order and the first impressions will be there right on time so the company can fix small issues for the 2024 Lexus RX 350.
2024 Lexus RX 350 Specs
The SUV finally did what everyone expected – a V6 is dropped and the new engine for the lineup is a 2.5-liter four-banger. The standard configuration combines the plant with a turbocharger package. The combo is good for 275 hp, which is a downgrade from the previous output. A V6 could do 290-295 ponies, depending on the configuration. A hybrid version is now also badged with the RX 350 logo. The top of the line version is the RX 500h F Sport. In this case, the 2.5-liter petrol unit is paired with electric motors to deliver 367 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid model is going to be ready for the 2024 season as the RX 450h. We assume that the 2.5-liter mill will use the same setup as the Toyota Rav4 Prime to burst 302 hp. Another notable feature is the Direct4 AWD system. However, it is optional for the 2024 Lexus RX 350, while higher end models are offering it as the standard part of the package.
Gas Mileage
The RX is using a popular drivetrain setup among Toyota and Lexus vehicles. It is hard to compare it to other models, since the luxury SUV is larger than NX or Rav4, while the Highlander SUV kept a V6 under the hood. Anyway, the base configuration should improve the MPG rating compared to the previous edition. The RX500h F Sport delivers high outputs and the price you pay will be in bad fuel economy. The PHEV version should be also rated around 33-34 mpg, like the standard model, but with more power.
